Does TCMax require an Internet connection?

There are options available to meet your particular need. TCMax stand-alone systems can be run offline. Azure SQL Databases require persistent internet connection. Microsoft SQL or LocalDB databases do n’\ot require a connection to the internet.

Do you have technicians available to assist with setup?

Absolutely. Although most of our clients take care of everything on their own in just a couple of hours, assistance with setup, customization, and implementation is available.

  • Set up a free phone consultation and we will walk you through the input of your assets and people. It’s as easy as setting up an Excel® spreadsheet.
  • For an additional charge, TCMax support will be happy to create and input your initial data into the software. Contact us for pricing.

Can we customize or change fields and options within TCMax Software?

Yes, but with over 100 reports and 200 options already available there is a good chance we already have exactly what you're looking for. TCMax was designed to work the way you do, and many options have been added as a direct result of client customization requests.

Some of our assets require various inspection dates at intervals other than the number of times checked in or out. Will TCMax audible notifications still work for us?

Yes, you can set an unlimited number of inspections, and TCMax verbal notifications can be set based on mileage, hours, number of times used, and due date.

If our assets have barcodes or Datamatrix codes, can we use those with TCMax?

Yes!

Can we set up TCMax on more than one computer?

Yes, some of our clients set up TCMax away from the tool toom. Employees can find the items that they want, click a button sending that item to a receipt printer to hand to the tool room operator. This setup makes issuing tools significantly faster. The receipt contains a scannable barcode for faster issuing along with the storage location, part number, and description of the item.

Can we try the software before purchasing?

Yes, please submit the Free Trial Request form to request a 90-day trial of the full working software. After 90 days the software will not function without applying a purchased license.

Can I use my existing hardware with TCMax software?

TCMax software is guaranteed to work with all hardware listed on this website. If you have other equipment that you’d like to use with TCMax software, please contact us. Hardware outside of our approved list may be submitted for testing and approval.
